Was this Vancouver or the Orange Planet?
For those who are new or just visiting this city, the last week or so was like living on a different planet.
Vancouver and the sunny blue skies of summer had been snuffed out by a giant haze of smoke coming from forest fires burning on Vancouver Island. The fires and the smoke clouds were so big they drifted across the province into the B.C. interior.
Not very often you could look directly at the sun …
But does this mean it’s all over? We’ve got our clear skies and calm waters back to enjoy, but there’s always rocks ahead. So enjoy the day we have today.
