The advent of Doritos-flavored Mountain Dew—Dewitos, if you will (I won’t)—has created a snack-beverage singularity akin to a spiritual experience, and Stephen Colbert is totally on board.

Sure, it’s gross, but it’s better than the old, outdated method of experiencing every flavor at once: Eating them all and then throwing up a little bit. Even Colbert can’t talk about that one with a straight face.
By the way, if you’ve been thinking Mountain Dew-flavored Doritos would be less disgusting than their inverted, liquified counterpart, you’re probably right. So far, the closest thing is Mountain Dew Cheetos, tested in Japan earlier this year.
